One organization, many sports
614 Sports exists to give Columbus athletes more ways to compete. Every program below runs on the same principles: competitive formats, prices a group of friends can split, and events built around the local community.
3v3 Basketball Tournaments
First eventOur opening program. Teams of up to six play pool-play games to set seeding, then fight through a single-elimination bracket in the same day. Games run to 21 or the time limit, whichever comes first.
Date, venue, and entry fee are being finalized now — the interest list hears first.
Recreational Leagues
In planningMulti-week seasons for players who want a standing game night instead of a one-day bracket. Set schedule, set teams, standings that carry through the season, and a playoff at the end.
We're sizing up which sport gets a league first — basketball is the front-runner, but the interest list decides.
Esports Events
In planningCompetition doesn't stop at the court. We're building bracketed esports events for Columbus gamers with the same structure as our sporting events: seeded play, clear rules, and a champion at the end of the night.
Titles and platforms will be chosen based on what local players actually want to compete in.
Other Sports Experiences
Open to ideasKickball, volleyball, flag football, dodgeball, pickleball — if enough people in Central Ohio want to play it, we want to run it. Nothing here is locked in, which is exactly the point.
There's a free-text field on the interest form. Use it to name the sport you'd sign up for.
Where we are right now
614 Sports is a new organization, and we'd rather be honest about that than pretend there's a full season already on the books.
Nothing is open for registration yet. We're in the interest-gathering phase: learning which sports Central Ohio wants, what people can pay, and which nights and neighborhoods work. That data sets our schedule.
